Australia had one of the worst bush fires this year, hospitals have assigned Emergency Medical teams to take a mobile hospital to save and treat animals including koalas. While planning the different trips, they discovered that on one road an old bridge needs to be replaced in order to hold the weight of a multiunit mobile hospital. The local transportation department announced its need for a new bridge design. The best design will be used to build a steel bridge to replace the old one. Being interested in engineering and design and reasonably well informed about shapes and construction you decided to go for this challenge. The criteria for building a successful bridge are to: 1- be able to stand up on its own 2- be strong enough to support the weight of a plastic cup filled with much coins as possible (like a mobile hospital traveling over the bridge). 3- survive an earthquake.
